Meet Dr. Tchakarova

When coming to our office for your dental needs, you will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Ludmila Tchakarova, our knowledgeable, friendly and out-going dentist. Dr. Tchakarova is originally from Bulgaria. She graduated at the High Medical Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria and obtained her Dental Degree in 1993.

After arriving to the United States she earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree upon completion of three years of the Advanced Standing Program at University of Maryland School Of Dentistry. Dr. Tchakarova has been in private practice in Bulgaria, the United States, and acquired great experience working with multicultural patients becoming fluent in English, Bulgarian and Russian.

She joined Dr. Gaitan’s Dental practice in 1998 and since 2011 is working at Columbia Prime Dental. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Howard County Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Every year she attends numerous continuing education classes to stay current with the latest techniques in order to satisfy our patient’s dental wants and needs. Since 2014, she is involved with Donated Dental Services as a Volunteer Dentist helping those who need it the most. On her down time, she enjoys spending time with her son, hiking and dancing.
